Gurjaani, Georgia
Completed 2012

Our company has successfully completed a 75-bed hospital project located in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, and commissioned by Jscinsurance Company GPI Holding. This modern hospital, with a total construction area of 5,500 m², has been built as a healthcare facility equipped with state-of-the-art technology systems that meet international healthcare standards. The project is a concrete example of the expertise and attention to detail we demonstrated at every stage, from the foundation to the most complex technical infrastructure.

Construction Process and Comprehensive Application Details

Rough Construction and Foundation: At the beginning of the project, excavation and filling work was carried out to ensure that the building was constructed on a solid foundation. Reinforced concrete foundations, basement walls and columns, and columns, walls, and floors for other floors were constructed to ensure structural integrity. Foundation and wall insulation were completed in full to ensure the building's longevity. Additionally, elevator and stairwells for vertical circulation within the building, as well as shafts and embedded systems for electrical and mechanical installations, were installed. Roof waterproofing was achieved by pouring terrace slope concrete, insulation, and protective concrete.

Fine Construction and Custom Fabrications: Special coatings and systems were applied to ensure the functionality and hygiene of the hospital.

Floors and Surfaces: Durable and hygienic PVC flooring, epoxy flooring for laboratories and sterile areas, and carpet flooring that provides a comfortable atmosphere were used. Wall and floor tiles, aesthetic marble stair coverings, and general floor coverings were meticulously applied.

Doors and Partitions: Hermetic and photoelectric doors, as well as laminate doors, were installed to enhance patient safety and comfort. Interior walls were constructed using gas concrete.

Special Function Areas: Radiology rooms, dining hall, kitchen, laboratory rooms, patient care rooms, intensive care, operating room, and morgue rooms, which are of critical importance for the hospital, were constructed and equipped in accordance with international standards.

Electrical and Security Systems: The latest technology electrical infrastructure was installed to ensure the hospital operates continuously and safely.

Energy and Security: Full security was ensured with strong and weak current installations, lightning protection, and grounding systems. A power building and generator systems were integrated for uninterrupted energy flow. CCTV was installed for security, and a public address and emergency announcement system was installed for internal communication.

Critical Mechanical Systems: The mechanical systems, which are the most important and complex part of the hospital, were designed and implemented in accordance with health standards.

HVAC (Ventilation, Air Conditioning): Special HEPA-filtered air filtration systems, positive/negative pressure control systems, and clean room ventilation systems were installed to create sterile environments for operating rooms. Comfortable air conditioning systems and emergency ventilation systems were installed for patient rooms and common areas.

Medical Gas Systems: Central oxygen, nitrous oxide, compressed air, vacuum, and carbon dioxide systems, along with gas alarm and monitoring systems, have been fully completed.

Water and Steam Systems: Sterile water systems, dialysis water preparation systems, and emergency shower/eye wash systems have been installed. Central steam production systems and distribution lines for sterilization, along with boiler rooms, have been constructed.

Fire Safety Systems: Sprinkler systems throughout the facility, FM-200 gas-based fire suppression systems for sensitive areas, fire pumps, and fire cabinets have been installed to ensure full safety.

Landscaping: The project was completed with interior construction, infrastructure, landscaping, and landscaping work, creating an aesthetic and peaceful outdoor environment for staff and patients.
