Our company has successfully completed a modern Land Terminal Management Building project with a total construction area of 1,100 m² for Gemport Gemlik Port Operations, one of Turkey's major ports. This building, designed as the hub for port operations, is a structure that combines aesthetics and functionality, where all processes are meticulously managed from basic construction work to the finest details.
Project Scope and Implementation Details
Structural Work and Infrastructure: At the start of the project, the necessary excavation and filling work was completed to ensure the building was constructed on a solid foundation. The reinforced concrete foundations, columns, walls, and floors that form the basic structure were built to high standards. Elevator and stairwells were created for vertical circulation within the building, and the necessary shafts and embedded installations for future electrical and mechanical installations were put in place.
Facade and Insulation Systems: The exterior appearance of the building was designed to have a modern and prestigious architectural line. The exterior facade features an aluminum cladding system that provides superior visual appeal, along with energy-efficient insulation and mineral plaster facade construction. On the roof, terrace slope concrete, polyurea insulation, and protective concrete were poured to ensure waterproofing.
Interior Finishing: Extensive finishing work was carried out inside the administrative building to create an efficient and comfortable working environment.
Partitions and Coverings: Flexible office partitions, durable laminate doors, and aluminum frames were used in the interior. The walls were built with aerated concrete. Durable floor tiles were chosen for the floors, and aesthetic marble coverings were preferred for the stairs.
Ceiling and Wall Applications: Suspended ceilings and plaster painting were used to achieve smooth surfaces that complement the interior aesthetics.
Custom Manufacturing: Fire doors compliant with safety standards were installed, and modern restrooms were built for employee comfort.
Electrical and Mechanical Infrastructure: All technical systems ensuring the building's smooth operation were professionally installed.
Electrical: High and low voltage installations were set up for safe and uninterrupted energy flow. Lightning protection, grounding, and fire detection systems were integrated against potential risks.
Mechanical: Heating, cooling, and ventilation systems that maximize the comfort of the building, along with sanitary and fire systems that provide a hygienic and safe environment, have been completed.
Landscaping: The project was not limited to the interior of the building. Infrastructure, landscaping, and landscaping works supporting the overall operation of the facility were also completed, creating an aesthetic and functional outdoor area.
