Our company successfully completed the S.S. Demirciler Construction Cooperative Buildings project, a major undertaking in the industrial sector, with a total construction area of 36,000 m². This project was specifically designed to meet the needs of the iron and metal industry, fulfilling all structural and technical requirements for a modern and functional industrial site.
Construction Process and Application Details
Superstructure and Foundation: At the beginning of the project, we completed the necessary excavation and filling works to create a suitable foundation for heavy industrial structures. To enhance the buildings' durability, we poured reinforced concrete foundations and performed all insulation works to provide maximum protection against moisture and water damage. The main load-bearing frame of the buildings was constructed using steel columns, roof, and facade steel members to ensure wide spans and operational flexibility.
Façade and Roof Systems: The buildings' exterior envelope was clad with mineral wool panels to provide superior thermal and sound insulation, maximizing energy efficiency. We integrated roof skylights to allow for natural lighting and further energy savings. A modern siphonic drainage system was installed for the fast and efficient discharge of rainwater.
Interior Finishes and Functional Areas: We implemented specialized applications with a focus on optimizing production processes and employee comfort.
Partitions and Coverings: We installed internal partition walls and completed general wall construction. All walls were meticulously finished with plastering and painting. We poured durable concrete slabs and installed various floor coverings.
Doors and Joinery: We used aluminum joinery and laminate doors to give the buildings a modern look. For safety, we installed single and double-leaf fire doors, and for logistical ease, we installed industrial doors.
Special Applications: We installed suspended ceilings and completed waterproofing in wet areas to ensure both aesthetics and durability. We also built modern WCs and changing rooms for the comfort of employees.
Electrical and Mechanical Systems: We installed all technical infrastructure to ensure the smooth operation of the buildings, with a strong focus on efficiency and safety.
Electrical: We installed high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems as well as lightning protection and grounding systems for complete safety. To support internal communication and data flow, we installed telephone and data wiring. We also installed a fire alarm system for security and fixtures, site, and garden lighting for illumination.
Mechanical: We completed the wastewater, clean water, heating, boiler room, fire fighting, ventilation, and hydrant systems to ensure the buildings' comfort and safety.
Infrastructure and Site Development: The project extended beyond just the buildings' construction. We completed the infrastructure, site development, and landscaping works to support the entire zone's operation, creating a modern and organized industrial environment.
