Our company has once again proven its expertise and extensive capabilities in the field of industrial construction with the Çimtaş Pipe Factory project, located in the Bursa Free Zone. This large-scale project, covering a total construction area of 14,560 m², was meticulously managed and successfully completed from planning to execution.
The project encompassed a wide range of works, from foundations to roofing, machinery infrastructure, and landscaping.
Scope and Implementation Details of the Project:
Foundation and Groundworks:
To ensure the project was built on a solid base, precise excavation and filling works were carried out first. Subsequently, reinforced concrete foundations were constructed to withstand the heavy load capacity of the factory. Inside the facility, high-quality industrial concrete flooring was applied to increase operational efficiency and provide durability against heavy machinery.
Structural Systems:
The building’s main load-bearing structure was formed using a hybrid system consisting of both reinforced concrete and steel columns. This approach enhanced both the durability and functional flexibility of the factory. For the roof, a high-strength steel roofing system was built to safely span large openings.
Facade and Exterior Works:
The exterior facade of the factory featured stone wool-filled cladding panels, offering superior performance in both insulation and aesthetics. These panels contribute to energy efficiency while providing a modern appearance. In addition, retaining walls were constructed in line with the site’s topography to complete the landscaping works.
Infrastructure and Machine Foundations:
Critical infrastructure works for a production facility—such as stormwater drainage, sewage systems, and electrical lines—were completed to the highest standards. Specially designed and dimensioned machine foundations, ensuring the precise placement of production equipment, were also one of the most significant elements of the project.
