We successfully completed the construction of a Press Line and Production Facility for Coşkunöz Holding, one of the leading companies in the automotive industry, as part of a critical project aimed at increasing production capacity and efficiency. This project, with a total construction area of 7,500 m², required in-depth engineering knowledge and expert solutions tailored to challenging site conditions. The project was carried out with meticulous attention to detail, from the most basic stages to the final preparation of the factory for production.
Project Scope and Implementation Details:
Deep Excavation and Ground Improvement: The most critical phase of the project involved deep excavation down to the -8.00 elevation level for the area where the heavy press machines would be installed. For this critical phase, sheet pile systems and retaining piles were used, taking into account the surrounding structures and ground safety. Following the excavation work, ground improvement work was carried out using mini piles to create a stable ground capable of supporting the factory load.
Reinforced Concrete and Steel Fabrication: The main structural skeleton of the facility was constructed specifically for the production processes. Reinforced concrete press line pits and strong reinforced concrete foundations were built specifically for heavy-duty press machines. The overall load-bearing capacity of the building was provided by steel columns and roof trusses, which are ideal for wide spans and high ceilings.
Insulation and Cladding Works: Comprehensive insulation solutions were implemented to increase the energy efficiency and durability of the building. Cladding works were completed using rock wool panels that offer superior insulation performance on roofs and facades. These panels provide both thermal and sound insulation, creating an ideal working environment. In addition, insulation work was carried out in a comprehensive manner on all foundations and floors.
Finishing and Complementary Applications: Necessary finishing work, such as restrooms, was carried out in accordance with the functional needs of the factory, taking into consideration the comfort of the employees. Industrial doors were installed to facilitate access to production areas and ensure safety.
Infrastructure and Environmental Arrangements: The project was not limited to building construction. Floor concrete was poured to support transportation inside and outside the factory. All infrastructure and environmental arrangement works were completed, and the facility was made ready for operation.
This project is a strong testament to our ability to develop engineering solutions even in complex ground conditions, manage large-scale industrial facilities on a turnkey basis, and maintain superior quality standards throughout all processes.
