This project is a comprehensive investment project that includes the installation of a total of 30 wind turbines, the construction of related switchgear facilities, and the construction of a control management building, while maintaining the highest standards of environmental and engineering standards. With a total area of 32,000 m², the facility aims to make a significant contribution to sustainable energy production. Our project has meticulously planned and executed all processes, from site preparation to the final installation of the turbines.
Site Preparation and Turbine Foundation Construction
The first and most critical phase of the project began with detailed site surveys and work planning tailored to the topographical and geological structure of the land for each turbine. These preliminary studies ensured that all construction processes were carried out flawlessly and efficiently.
To ensure that each turbine can withstand high static and dynamic loads, reinforced concrete foundation construction was carried out with meticulous care. This process continued with the pouring of grout to create a solid foundation after the excavation of the foundation areas. Formwork and rebar installation were performed to create the main load-bearing structure of the foundations, followed by the completion of the turbine foundation reinforced concrete construction. Anchoring systems that provide a secure connection between the turbine tower and the foundation, as well as electrical conduit installations for energy transmission, were also installed prior to the reinforced concrete pour. Finally, grout was poured to reinforce the structural integrity of the foundation.
In order to protect the foundations from groundwater and moisture, waterproofing and drainage system applications, which are another important component of the project, have been implemented. This waterproofing and drainage system ensures the longevity of the structures.
Logistics and Infrastructure Manufacturing
The installation of 30 turbines is a complex logistics operation that requires the transportation and assembly of heavy and bulky equipment. Therefore, transportation routes and turbine installation platforms were constructed with great care for the turbine installation in the project. Excavation and filling works carried out in accordance with the challenging conditions of the terrain ensured the safe movement of heavy cranes and transport vehicles. These roads and platforms were delivered in compliance with testing standards and made ready for operational use.
To ensure the durability and sustainability of the transportation routes, drainage ditches were constructed according to the topography of the terrain. At road crossings, reinforced concrete drainage channels compliant with DSİ (State Water Works) standards were built to facilitate the controlled drainage of surface water flow.
Switchyard and Control Building Construction Works
The switchyard and control building, which are at the heart of the wind power plant, have also been completed as part of this comprehensive project. The switchyard ensures that the energy produced is safely transferred to the grid, while the control building monitors, controls, and manages all operational processes of the facility 24/7.
This project serves as a model example of how turnkey projects in the wind energy sector can be successfully executed. Every stage of the project, from the initial site surveys to the completion of turbine foundation, logistics, and infrastructure works, was carried out without compromising on quality and safety standards.
