This project, undertaken by our company, covers the construction of turbine foundations and platforms, access roads, culverts, and fire response buildings required for the installation of 14 GWH-182-8 MW wind turbines. With a total installed capacity of 112 MWm / 100.08 MWe, the wind power plant represents a strategic investment that will make a significant contribution to the region’s renewable energy generation capacity.
From site preparation activities to the construction of turbine foundations, transportation infrastructure, and auxiliary facilities, all project phases are being planned and executed in accordance with the highest environmental and engineering standards.
Site Preparation and Ground Improvement Works
The initial phase of the project involved detailed topographical and geotechnical investigations for turbine locations and transportation routes. Based on the data obtained, the preparation of platform areas, required excavation and filling works, and ground improvement applications have been planned and initiated.
Engineering solutions tailored to the site-specific ground conditions are being implemented to enhance bearing capacity and ensure the long-term stability and safe operation of the turbine foundations.
Turbine Foundations and Platform Construction
Construction of the reinforced concrete foundations specifically designed for the 8 MW GWH-182 wind turbines has commenced. These foundation systems are engineered to safely withstand the significant static and dynamic loads generated by the turbines and are being built in compliance with international standards.
The foundation works include anchor cage installations, grouting applications, electrical infrastructure conduits, and integrated drainage systems. In addition, waterproofing and protection measures are being implemented to maximize the durability and service life of the foundations.
Access Roads and Culvert Construction
To ensure the safe transportation of turbine components to the project site, new access roads and platform connections are being constructed. Designed to accommodate heavy transport vehicles, these roads are supported by extensive earthworks and ground improvement measures.
Reinforced concrete culverts and drainage structures are being installed at various locations along the route to provide controlled stormwater management and protect the road infrastructure. These works are intended to ensure safe and reliable site access throughout all seasons and operating conditions.
Fire Response Buildings
As part of the project scope, dedicated fire response buildings are also being constructed to enhance the operational safety of the wind power plant. These facilities are being designed in accordance with modern safety and operational standards, enabling rapid and effective response to potential emergency situations.
Project Objective
Upon completion, the project will consist of 14 GWH-182-8 MW wind turbines with a total installed capacity of 112 MWm / 100.08 MWe, contributing significantly to the country's sustainable energy goals through clean and renewable electricity generation.
All infrastructure, foundation, and superstructure works are being carried out meticulously in line with the highest standards of quality, occupational health and safety, and environmental management.
