Our company has successfully completed the Burgüç Boğazköy HES (Hydroelectric Power Plant) project, one of the important projects contributing to sustainable energy production, under Burgüç Bursa Güç Birliği Enerji Üretim A.Ş. This 10 MW capacity project is a comprehensive undertaking covering all processes from the foundation to the operational infrastructure, meeting the most demanding engineering and safety requirements.

Construction Process and Application Details

Ground Improvement and Safety: At the beginning of the project, extremely meticulous ground improvement works were carried out to create a safe working environment and guarantee structural integrity. This included the installation of a total of 2,158 meters of sheet pile piles, 591 meters of mini pile drilling, 5,090 meters of prestressed anchors, and 120 tons of steel pipe pile manufacturing. These engineering solutions maximized ground stability while ensuring the project progressed safely.

Rough Construction and Structure: After completing the necessary excavation and filling work on the power plant building, which was built on a strong foundation, reinforced concrete construction was carried out. Steel roof installation and rock wool panel roof cladding work were carried out for the roof of the building, providing both durability and insulation.

Auxiliary Structures and Infrastructure: Administrative and auxiliary buildings were constructed to support the operational efficiency of the power plant. A 150-meter tailrace channel was built to manage water flow. Anchors were installed to provide structural protection. Within the scope of environmental regulations, slopes and V-channels were constructed to manage water and soil.

Technical Systems and Security:

Electrical Works: Strong and weak current systems were installed for the smooth energy production and distribution of the power plant. Lightning protection and grounding systems were integrated for protection against environmental factors, while fire alarm, emergency announcement, and public address systems were integrated for emergencies. In addition, CCTV and UPS systems were installed for the security of the facility and uninterrupted power supply. Fixtures, perimeter, and garden lighting were also completed throughout the area.

Mechanical Works: All mechanical systems necessary for the operational needs of the facility and employee comfort were installed. In this context, sewage, clean water, heating, boiler, and firefighting systems were completed without exception.

Final Touches: With the completion of the project, the infrastructure, landscaping, and environmental works supporting the operation of the entire facility were also completed, making the power plant ready for full operation.
